Paul is originally from the US West Coast.  He has lived many places in the past, including: Spokane, Chicago, Houston, in Vermont, Seattle, Portland, Berkeley - and twice overseas (in Germany, and in Japan).

Evansville, Indiana, has become his adopted hometown as a homeowner here for about 15 years now.  He is active in his local Evansville church.

Professionally, Paul has worked in high-tech fields such as software design and testing, college-level teaching, writing and publishing, and a variety of other endeavors.  He's volunteered on multiple archaeological and paleontological digs in both the US and overseas.

He has a B.S. in History from Portland State University; and an M.A. in Biblical Studies from Masters Divinity School.
